Corlew Appliance Parts & Service started with Ray joining the family service business, Currey's Radio & TV service in the early 1960s. In the mid 1960s, Ray joined the General Electric's Factory Service team. Later as an independent service contractor for GE, he opened a small shop in the late 60s till opening the Gallatin location Corlew Appliance Parts & Service store in the early 1980s.
